03/09/2010 15:12Generally, I am of the opinion that if you don't want people to read something, you don't put it on the internet, because systems such as friends-locked have some basic flaws in them.
That said, there is such a thing as context. And the new FB/ twitter shennanigans are a problem when it comes to context. I don't care who reads my unimportant musings, I do care where they show up and how.
So, to the less dramatic bottom-line: this journal is now friends only. You can generally find here anti-giraffe propaganda, memes, nonsense about writing, and ranting and occasional squeeing about work, real life, politics, linguistics, academia in general, my fannish stuff of the moment and Whatever Annoyed Me Today. My Doctor Who fics are on Teaspoon, not here anyway. If you want to be added, comment here.
