Usually it's Doctor Who, so to Teaspoon. If it's a crossover I also post it on AO3.
I've actually been wondering about that lately, as I'm writing for the first time a non-crossover HP fic. I've looked around in the big HP archives, but they've all angered me with their conservatism and hypocrisy and offended me with their homophobia, so that's a no go (unless anyone knows of a decent one, I'm open to suggestions...). I guess this one will go on AO3 and maybe FFnet. I'm not against FF.net per se, it's just that the HP section there is soooooo huge it'll all just end up getting lost.
24 – Betaing – How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren't any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?

wojelah volunteered to beta Temptation because they wanted the wintercompanion fics to be beta'd without knowing anything about the fic itself, and all her comments were really helpful and enthusiastic. And because I have a tendency to think everyone can read my mind and so end up not always writing in the clearest ways possible, the couple of times she got confused really helped me key on where I should have been more clear. Hooray!
25 – Music – Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic?
I listen to music when I write... I find it weird. Some things I can't write when listening to, for example The Moody Blues. I love the Moody Blues, but if they're playing, nothing will get written. The Who, on the other hand, are perfect. I just write and write. Upbeat things in general - last night the Yardbirds helped me stay in the mood a lot, and Led Zeppelin are often a safe bet, too.
