Meme days 3 & 4
30/07/2011 00:59Ho, LJ outage that does not allow me to continue with my memeish resolutions.
3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favourite characters to write?
SG1 - I think Daniel and Sam I'm most comfortable with. I adore all of them in canon, but I'm always feeling inadequate in writing Jack's lines (what can I do. I'm not as funny as RDA.). And then there's Teal'c... who I also feel inadequate to write because a lot of his comedy is physical.
SGA - Elizabeth. And Rodney. He rants a lot. But Elizabeth has got this cool calmness...
Doctor Who - the Doctor! The Tenth, specifically. He's sitting inside my head and chatters. And Jack, too, I'm enjoying. (If I'm already on Torchwood, Gwen I find easiest after Jack, as she's the POV character for the show and I tend to gravitate towards those).
Also, I've only written SJA's Gita once, but she was sheer joy.
Harry Potter - again, Harry, due to canon POV issues.
4 – Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?
Sorry, no muse characters. I'm going with the story I want to tell... maybe the Doctor as I always end up writing about him, but I think that's more due to the fact he's the centre of DW.
